Master of Divinity (M. Div.)

Duration: 3 years
Qualification reqd: Secular Bachelor’s degree or B.Th.

Master of Divinity program is a postgraduate course designed to train Christian leaders in order to meet the modern challenges of ministry. The program provides advanced education in Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, Mission and Evangelism, Practical Ministry, Church History, and Christian Leadership, equipping students for effective service in the Church and society.


The M.Div. degree requires a minimum of 30 courses and a thesis of five credits, combining for a total of 90 credit hours. All 30 courses will be core subjects. There will be no elective courses offered. This curriculum ensures that all graduates receive comprehensive training in theological, missional, practical, historical, and ministerial disciplines.


All M.Div. candidates are expected to take a common Research Methodology course on thesis writing. The thesis requirement enables students to engage in scholarly research and apply theological knowledge to contemporary ministry contexts or a Ministry Practicum, which provides supervised ministry experience and practical application of classroom learning. The overall program is designed to produce biblically grounded, theologically competent, mission-minded, and practically equipped Christian leaders.
